Melissa Rakiro is an American actress and model. Originally from the Philadelphia area, her work spans television, film, theater, voiceover, commercials, and print campaigns.

Melissa is best known for her recurring role as ADA Romona Paltz in the second season of American Rust: Broken Justice on Amazon Prime alongside Jeff Daniels. She was also part of the cast of Netflix's Rustin, for which she received an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Ensemble Cast.

Most recently she appeareed as Mia in The Listeners. Written and directed by Jess Carson (CW'S The Flash), for which she received a nomination for Best Ensemble Cast at the IndieX Film Festival. It was also an Official Selection of the Independent Shorts Awards.

Currently, You can see her as Alaya in the off-Broadway production of The Brave New Earth this fall.
